Polly & Plaidman series

“The dream is a series of images, which are apparently contradictory and nonsensical, but arise in reality from psychological material which yields a clear meaning.” Carl Jung

This is my dream series of “Miss Polly”. She followed me into the studio and morphed over time. In one dream she tried to protect me from a new character- the un-stoppable Plaidman (who wore a ridiculous plaid suit). They worked out their roles in drawings and paintings. When Plaidman centered himself and Polly started running away, a third character evolved - a young boy-child running (or bicycling) in the opposite direction— with his left arm raised as if to say “Follow Me” or “There’s Hope!”.

This mixed media series continues to evolve.
